Drone training – Part 101 – personal use

Whether you want to take aerial photographs, inspect your property, check stock in a
distant paddock, film a sports event, or just enjoy the thrill of hobby flying, it is important
that you understand the aviation rules and risks associated with operating a drone.

Why do a Part 101 drone operator course?

Taking part in our one-day Part 101 Drone course will teach you how to safely operate a

-Operating safely in airspace shared with other drone uses, and both private and commercial aircraft
-The risks and hazards involved in personal drone use and how to mitigate these.
The Part 101 course will also be the perfect lead into our upcoming CAA Part 102 course that enables participants to obtain certification to operate a drone professionally – more information to come!
